Grow Card Alerts
Grow Card Alerts is a 24/7 security monitoring service utilizing text and phone call communications to send immediate alerts about any suspicious activity detected on your Grow Visa® credit cards or Grow Visa debit cards (collectively, “cards”). All members are automatically enrolled in this service, there’s nothing you need to do.
How Grow Card Alerts Work
At the moment the system detects a transaction out of the ordinary with your typical card usage, we’ll place a temporary block on your card to prevent further transactions. The block will stay in place until you respond either by text message or phone call to the alert.
By Text Messaging:
- You will receive an alert on your cell phone from 23618. The alert lists the last four digits of your card and the unusual activity.
- To confirm the transaction was yours, simply reply YES.
- If the transaction was not yours, reply NO and a representative will call to review the transaction and, if fraudulent, deactivate your card and file a fraud report.
By Phone Call:
- If you don’t have a cell phone registered with us, you’ll receive voice alerts on other phone numbers listed with your account.
- The system will leave a voice message and a callback number if you’re not available.
- If you haven’t provided us with your current contact information, (phone number and email address), please call our Member Contact Center at 800.839.6328, so we may update our records.
And, Just a Reminder…
Grow Card Alerts will never ask for your PIN or account number, and we will never use Grow Card Alerts to advertise to you. This service is for your security only.
All members of Grow Financial are automatically opted in to the service. Members with a valid cell phone number on file will have the convenience of receiving and responding to fraud alerts electronically, in the form of an SMS/text from the phone number (short code number) 23618, at the time of the transaction. Members who do not have a cell phone registered with us will continue to receive voice alerts on other phone numbers in our records. If you do receive an alert, please respond to it quickly as it may disrupt future use of your card.
OPT-OUT: To opt-out of Grow Card Alerts, reply “STOP” to the short code. You can also opt out by calling the number on the back of your card (800.839.6328).
IMPORTANT: If a cell number or text contact (together, “contact”) is provided, or if you later provide such to the credit union via other communication including Online Banking or social media, you consent and agree that (i) you are the subscriber or customary user of the number provided and (ii) that the credit union or our third party servicers (including debt collectors) may use this contact to provide information to you about your accounts and services, to reply to any inquiry, or to provide other information via calling, texting or otherwise. This contact may be made by dialing the cell phone, by autodialer, text or robo text method. You also agree that you shall be solely responsible for any fees charged by your internet or cellular provider that you incurred through such contact. You understand that this consent is not required in order to obtain any loan or services from the credit union, and that you may revoke this consent. You may withdraw your consent to be contacted on your cell number or opt-out at any time by providing written notice to us at Grow Financial Federal Credit, Attn: Member Contact Center, P.O. Box 89909, Tampa, FL 33689-0415, or by contacting us at (813) 837-2451 or (800) 839-6328 during normal business hours. Alerts sent via SMS may not be delivered to you if your phone is not in the range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within coverage, factors beyond the control of Verizon and T-Mobile/MetroPCS may interfere with messages delivery for which the carrier is not responsible. T-Mobile/Metro PCS does not guarantee that alerts will be delivered. How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
Making a Loan Payment
When it comes to making payments, we try to make it as painless as possible to pay your loan every month. We have several different ways to pay, including convenient online options.
Pay Online
You have two ways to pay online by transferring funds from another bank or credit union.
- Grow Online Banking (Preferred payment method for any loan)
This is the simplest way to pay your loan. You can make one-time payments or set up automatic recurring payments in Grow Online Banking. Once you log in, select “Transfer/Payments” from the menu. If you’re not enrolled in Grow Online Banking yet, you can set up your account in just a few minutes.

- Debit Card or ACH (Available for auto, personal loans and HELOCs)
Note: ACH and debit card payments are not available for credit cards or most mortgages, except HELOCs.
We accept ACH payments with no additional fees or Mastercard® and Visa® debit cards with a convenience fee of $4.95. To get started with an online ACH or debit card payment, select Pay Now below.

Pay by Mail
You can also pay any Grow loan by check through the mail. Please remember to include your account number and Grow loan number on the check. (For credit card payments, please do not write your 16-digit credit card number on the check, which can cause a delay in processing the payment.)
