Growing the Greater Good in 2023 | Community Events Wrap-Up
Following a vibrant start to the year with several community events, Grow and the Grow Financial Foundation continued our commitment to growing the greater good throughout 2023. We focused on supporting local communities by partnering with other mission-driven organizations on a variety of initiatives and causes. We’d love to share some of what we’ve been up to this year, thanks to the donations and service of our members and team members!
Community Center Playground
The Grow Financial Foundation partnered with Homeless No More and the Leadership Columbia Class of 2023 to contribute to the revitalization project of St. Lawrence Place in Columbia, South Carolina, through the addition of a community playground. This project created a space where families can gather, learn to lean on each other and build a community as they move toward independent living.St. Jude Walk/Run
Making strides against childhood cancer, our team laced up their sneakers for the St. Jude Walk/Run, an event we’ve sponsored since 2014 as part of our purpose to grow the greater good. Our team members joined forces with individuals and organizations nationwide to raise funds and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Learn more about the St. Jude Walk/Run.Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Grow Financial Foundation teamed up with ObservaMé®, a Tampa-based woman and minority-owned business that creates athleisure apparel, to raise funds for the American Breast Cancer Foundation. Donations supported grants for underserved and uninsured people in the Tampa Bay area to aid in the early detection, treatment and survival of breast cancer. In honor of Veterans Day, we joined Friends of U.S. Military Families, Inc. for the Veterans Build Week of Service, a Habitat for Humanity annual event that provides affordable home improvement services for veterans and their families in Hillsborough County, Florida. Team members and other volunteers got to work cleaning up the yard, painting the exterior and removing debris to help restore a local veteran’s home.Community Pet Project
Grow team members spent time learning how to build doghouses to keep pets safe and warm through Community Pet Project, Inc. The doghouses were donated to local code enforcement to provide cozy shelter to pets in need throughout Hillsborough county. This initiative paired with a pet supply drive that supported 11 different organizations focused on protecting animals.Seniors Gift Drive
As 2023 draws to a close, we hosted a gift collection drive designed to bring joy to local seniors in need during the holiday season. The community rallied together to donate gifts in support of Silver Santas in Florida and Senior Resources, Inc. in South Carolina.Toy Collection Drive
Last but not least, the Grow Financial Foundation sponsored a toy collection drive to benefit the children of Wimauma Elementary. Our generous community came together to donate puzzles, games and other toys to make sure all children get to feel special around the holidays. As a local credit union, we prioritize cultivating community bonds and growing the greater good, and we have our members to thank for enabling us to do the work that we do. Thanks for being part of the credit union difference!

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
Making a Loan Payment
When it comes to making payments, we try to make it as painless as possible to pay your loan every month. We have several different ways to pay, including convenient online options.
Pay Online
You have two ways to pay online by transferring funds from another bank or credit union.
- Grow Online Banking (Preferred payment method for any loan)
This is the simplest way to pay your loan. You can make one-time payments or set up automatic recurring payments in Grow Online Banking. Once you log in, select “Transfer/Payments” from the menu. If you’re not enrolled in Grow Online Banking yet, you can set up your account in just a few minutes.

- Debit Card or ACH (Available for auto, personal loans and HELOCs)
Note: ACH and debit card payments are not available for credit cards or most mortgages, except HELOCs.
We accept ACH payments with no additional fees or Mastercard® and Visa® debit cards with a convenience fee of $4.95. To get started with an online ACH or debit card payment, select Pay Now below.

Pay by Mail
You can also pay any Grow loan by check through the mail. Please remember to include your account number and Grow loan number on the check. (For credit card payments, please do not write your 16-digit credit card number on the check, which can cause a delay in processing the payment.)
