Grow Financial Sponsors MLK Scholarship Program Benefiting High School Students
At Grow, we recognize the importance of empowering our young people to become the leaders of tomorrow. For the second year in a row, we’ve been able to sponsor the MLK Scholarship Program, provided by the Dr. Martin Luther King Parade Foundation, Inc. which sets aside a portion of proceeds each year to provide scholarships to deserving high school students.
About the MLK Scholarship Program
The MLK Scholarship Program benefits three college-bound students who have exhibited a commitment to both community service and academic excellence. The First-Generation College Student Award benefits a student who will be the first in their family to attend a college or university. The Most Improved Student Award honors a student who demonstrates significant improvement in their grades or behavioral history between their freshman and senior year of high school. Lastly, the Academic Excellence Award goes to the student with the highest verifiable GPA among all applicants.
Recipients were awarded their scholarships at the yearly MLK Parade Gala. The event’s theme for 2023 was Crossing Bridges to Achieve the Dream, a reminder that we need to bridge the divisions between us to move forward as a nation and community. Leaders of the Dr. Martin Luther King Parade Foundation, Inc., encouraged attendees of the gala to continue building those bridges in the same spirit of advocacy modeled by Dr. King. They said, “Dr. King’s teachings continue to serve as a guide for so much of what we can do to be a better nation. We will strive for the beloved community he spoke of — where friendship reigns.”
The MLK Scholarship Program highlights growth, character and opportunity for the youth in our communities. Congratulations to each scholarship recipient for your diligent work, and we wish you the very best in your college journey. Learn more about the MLK Scholarship Program.

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
Making a Loan Payment
When it comes to making payments, we try to make it as painless as possible to pay your loan every month. We have several different ways to pay, including convenient online options.
Pay Online
You have two ways to pay online by transferring funds from another bank or credit union.
- Grow Online Banking (Preferred payment method for any loan)
This is the simplest way to pay your loan. You can make one-time payments or set up automatic recurring payments in Grow Online Banking. Once you log in, select “Transfer/Payments” from the menu. If you’re not enrolled in Grow Online Banking yet, you can set up your account in just a few minutes.

Pay by Mail
You can also pay any Grow loan by check through the mail. Please remember to include your account number and Grow loan number on the check. (For credit card payments, please do not write your 16-digit credit card number on the check, which can cause a delay in processing the payment.)
