Grow Financial Named Top Workplace for 2019
Grow made the list again! We are honored to have once again been named a Top Workplace by the Tampa Bay Times.
For the past ten years, the Tampa Bay Times has partnered with Philadelphia-based Energage to conduct an employee survey and used the responses to identify the Top 100 Workplaces for the year. Grow has been ranked among the top workplaces in Tampa Bay every year since 2012 and this year we also received an extra-special honor. Our CEO, Robert Fisher, was selected as the 2019 Top Workplaces Leadership Award recipient for large companies.
Since he became our CEO in 1992, Fisher devoted his energies to creating a positive work environment where the individual is respected, diversity is welcomed and we all feel engaged in our mission of member service. His warmth, dignity and kindness have set an example of personal conduct for all of us at Grow to emulate.
“As a leader you have to make the statement to every employee that you are interested in them, and you appreciate them working for your organization,” Fisher said.
It’s this sentiment that drives such a positive response from Grow team members when asked about workplace culture topics like alignment, connection, effectiveness, management, engagement, leadership and benefits.
Any public, private, nonprofit or governmental employer with at least 50 employees in the Tampa Bay area was eligible to enter the Top Workplaces program. This year 191 companies participated, and employees consistently rated issues of connection and alignment most important to them.
The survey also pointed out that employees of top workplaces value confidence in their leaders and the feeling that their business is well-run. A Grow team member commented in the survey about our CEO, “Confidence is infectious.”
In response, Fisher said, “I think one of the advantages that I have is that I’ve been around a long time. I’ve been here 29 years, CEO for 27. That knowledge gives you confidence when you’re talking to your employees. You are prepared to answer just about any question that comes up. If you can convey that out to the people who work with you in a manner that shows excitement and a willingness to listen to what they’re saying, then I think the infectious part comes in and people get excited, too. That’s what, I think, drives a winning culture. You have to get the people who work for your company as excited as you are.”
Thank you to all of our team members who have once again made Grow Financial a Top Workplace in Tampa Bay! For a complete list of the 2019 Top Workplaces in Tampa Bay, visit www.tampabay.com/topworkplaces.

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
