Grow Financial Foundation Sponsors Bright Minds, Fresh Ideas Program
Grow Financial and the Grow Financial Foundation work to support financial literacy and workforce development, and what better way to do so than with youth education? This summer, we sponsored the Bright Minds, Fresh Ideas Student Think Tank (BMFITT), a collaborative summer internship program powered by the Florida Prosperity Partnership (FPP) Coalition.
About Bright Minds, Fresh Ideas
The Bright Minds, Fresh Ideas program provides invaluable skills to high school students in our communities.
Chantel Negron, AVP of Asset Protection, coordinated Grow’s involvement in the internship program and engaged with the students throughout the summer. She said, “Teaching important life skills, including financial literacy, to our young people is a perfect representation of what we’re doing at Grow when we say, ‘We make things grow.’ These students opened their hearts and minds to challenge the status quo and dared to dream big to help our communities.” Each intern worked with a professional mentor, learned about financial literacy, created a resume, worked on a budget, practiced public speaking and heard from multiple Grow team members about professional career topics.
Students were challenged to design creative solutions to real-world problems, called their social impact projects. At the BMFITT End-of-Summer Symposium, interns showcased their completed social impact projects to a panel of business experts, friends, family, mentors and community members. At the event, Bill Mills, President and CEO of the FPP Coalition, emphasized the impact of the program, saying, “So many positive things come from the minds of our youth if we just empower them to think creatively. It’s certainly true that youth with bright minds can come up with fresh ideas!”
Our Grow team members loved spending the summer with these impressive student interns, and we wish you all very successful futures! When you’re ready to enter the professional workforce, we’d be lucky to have any of you consider a career at Grow.

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
