Another successful supply drive is in the books! The Grow Financial Foundation honored Mother’s Day this year with a supply drive in support of The Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas, Inc.

The Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas

The Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas is a community-based, private, non-profit organization focused on improving the health and well-being of pregnant women, their children and families. Donations help them provide basic needs for families, including providing a safe and separate place for babies to sleep. Their mission is to promote and support healthy pregnancies, babies and families by providing services and facilitating access to community resources.

Mother’s Day Supply Drive Impact

Sabrina Diaz, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Healthy Start, said, “We are overwhelmed with the amount of items we received for Healthy Start families! It took us about 4 days to unbox and organize all the donations. Thank you to everyone at Grow Financial for supporting the families we serve.”

One Grow team member who participated in the drive, Bernadette Hogsett, Relationship Specialist at Grow’s Pinellas Park store, shared her thoughts about why Mother’s Day supply drives and other related initiatives that support children and families are very important to her personally. She said, “Knowing what the organization represents, and more importantly who they are helping, is what fuels me. Children are our greatest assets.” Thanks to support from our team members and community members, the Grow Financial Foundation was able to gather and donate lots of supplies to this wonderful organization to help local families in need.
