Grow Financial Celebrates Academy of Finance Completers
It’s graduation season, and the Hillsborough County high-school seniors who completed the Academy of Finance (AOF) program have worked hard to get here! These students have completed a rigorous, finance-oriented curriculum and are motivated to pursue higher education and careers in the finance industry. Grow Financial is proud to have supported the efforts of the AOF again this year.
Daniel Hirschlein, Grow’s Assistant Vice President of Analytics Services has served on the Hillsborough County Chapter Academy of Finance Advisory Board for the last three years, and this year served in the role of Board Secretary.
“The Academy of Finance (AOF) program does an amazing job preparing high school students for post-secondary education in finance and their future careers. It’s not uncommon to see completers of this program with above average GPAs, internship experience and completion of several college level classes. AOF students also gain experience in entrepreneurship by running virtual businesses or serving as managers in their school credit union branches,” Hirschlein said.
One of the benefits of the AOF program is that students are placed in local financial services businesses for six-week internships. Grow hosted three interns this school year, Semahn Montoute, Jove Morisset and Matt Wade. These students learned first-hand what it’s like to work in the financial services industry and will reap the benefits of that real-world experience as they enter college or the workforce.
Hirschlein shared, “Many of the AOF program graduates speak highly of the experience they gained from their internship with Grow. We have had students continue to work for Grow on a part-time basis beyond the initial internship experience.”
Congratulations to all of the students who graduated from this year’s Academy of Finance program! We are honored to have played a part in ensuring these program completers are college, career and future ready.

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
