Grow Named as a Best Workplace for Millennials™ in 2021
Great Place to Work and FORTUNE® magazine have recognized Grow Financial as one of the 2021 Best Workplaces for Millennials™. We’re honored to be ranked on this exclusive national list of the top 100 small- or medium-sized companies for millennials!
How were we selected for this award?
Great Place to Work created the rankings using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback from more than 5.3 million people across hundreds of workplaces. Companies were assessed based on how well they are creating a great team member experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of a team member’s personal identity or job title.
The survey included 60 confidential questions that measure the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what millennials say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization. The remaining 15% of the evaluation is based on team members’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values and the effectiveness of their leaders. Great Place to Work analyzes survey feedback relative to each organization’s size, workforce make up, and what’s typical relative to their peers in the industry. In that survey, 94% of Grow’s team members said that it’s a great place to work, compared to the 59% average for U.S. companies.
What did our team members say?
“Management shows their full support for front-line team members. We fully embrace diversity here at Grow, and we’re always pushing forward to assist our members. Grow Financial invests more than any other company I know in helping their team members succeed.”
“I’ve never had a job that made me feel as welcomed as I was when I first started here. Since I have been with Grow, it feels like everyone wants you to succeed in the position you’re in. Everyone is more than willing to help, whether it be guiding me through a problem or answering any questions. Grow is definitely a great place to work!”
What did we do differently to become a Best Workplace for Millennials™?
Serving people is more than just an idea for us. It’s our mission. Here at Grow, our team members come together each day to make a positive difference in the lives of our members and the communities we serve — especially in extraordinary times. While the last year brought uncertainty and new challenges, it also gave us the opportunity to expand our previous conception of what serving people means and meet the needs of our members, team members and the community in new and different ways, many of which have become a permanent part of the way we operate.
With health and safety in mind, we quickly implemented remote work for any personnel for whom working from home was possible and modified our sick leave, childcare and time off policies to allow parents more flexibility and make it clear to our team that taking care of their families was a priority. We also focused on expanding resources for team members specifically around physical, financial and mental health. All these policies are here to stay, and many of our team members will continue to work remotely or adopt a hybrid of remote and office work. If you’re interested in joining the team, learn more about careers at Grow.
We wouldn’t be able to maintain our collaborative, service-oriented culture if not for the efforts of the entire team. Thank you to our team members, whose diligent work and thorough feedback made this award possible!

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
Making a Loan Payment
When it comes to making payments, we try to make it as painless as possible to pay your loan every month. We have several different ways to pay, including convenient online options.
