Grow Ranks #6 on Forbes Best Credit Unions In State

With the economy still feeling the effects of the ongoing pandemic, the essential services provided by financial institutions are more important than ever. In an effort to find out which financial institutions have the best reputations among their members, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to create their third annual Best Credit Unions In Each State report. Of the 5,236 credit unions nationwide, only 3.5% made the list. Grow Financial ranked number six for the state of Florida, an honor we’re so humbled to receive.

“The fact that during a global pandemic we’ve been able to earn a top spot on the Forbes list is truly humbling and validates the incredible hard work of our entire team,” Thomas Feindt, Chief Executive Officer, said.

From payment deferment and loan forbearance to PPP loans, we’ve prioritized helping our members get through this incredibly difficult period. Nearly 25,000 people in the U.S. were surveyed for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships. The survey rated credit unions on overall satisfaction and recommendations, as well as five additional categories: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice. Ranking number six in the state of Florida is a real accomplishment for us.

“During this pandemic, we’ve been focused on finding every way we can to support our members,” Feindt said. “Helping more than 1,000 small businesses through the SBA Paycheck Protection Program has been a real highlight for us. Just across the board, our team members have been dedicated and focused on trying to help our communities get through these exceptionally trying times.”

We’re honored to be part of this exclusive list, which reflects that even during this pandemic, we are effectively serving members in support of our mission to serve people, not profit.
